In memory of my baby granddaughter who was born with anencephaly, lived for 49 minutes and passed on into a new life. Audrey was born without a complete brain stem and skull a rare disease in the fetal. In every other way she was perfect and her birth was flawless. I painted her as she would like to be remembered using the photo of her face and constructing her skull with forensic applications and family resemblences. She was the third daughter of my youngest son as he is the baby of my five children. Audrey will soon have a new sibling come May of 2012.
